Day 7

Already a week gone by and we left the Department of Berry. Stopped on the voie site of Issoudun, where the pathway was marked by the scallops on the ground, but the church of SaintCyr was closed. Visited another gorgeous church-Sacred Heart-much more modern with beautiful stained glass windows. On our way again towards Neuvy-Saint-Sepulchre. An astonishing design which imitates the church of the holy sepulcher in Jerusalem--a rotunda with 11 columns, representing the 11 apostles after the betrayal of Judas. A walk after visiting the church along the well-marked pathway in the shade by a beautiful waterway. Continuation to Crozant and our Air B&B for 4 nights.
