Day 20

Another driving day, so the feet not moving too much, but heads spinning! Four stops along the Way--Ste Foy la Grande, St Ferme, La Reole, Fontet, and finally Bazas! Beautiful romanesque architecture, sadly destroyed during the wars of religion, the 100 years war between England and France, and the French Revolution. Rebuilt each time, but losing the ancient character. The city of La Reole was lovely and very welcoming, on the Garonne River.
